Luis Diaz – Eruption
Meet Luis Diaz! Luis is an 18 year-old surfer from the Canary Islands, Gran Canaria to be exact. Luis is sponsored by Quiksilver, Monster Energy, Pukas, JAM, Nixon and Feather Fins.
Luis burst on to the international surfing scene last summer when he won the junior division at the US Open of Surfing, one of the most prestigious junior event on the international surfing calendar.
Luis, who will finish high school in June, will disembark on trips to Tahiti, Indonesia and South Africa this year while still competing on the European WSL circuit. Luis is currently at the ISA World Surfing Games in Biarritz, France, representing Spain.
